NMC releases programme details for 11th International Yoga Day

New Delhi- The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released programme details for the Yoga event being organised on the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2025. 

Through the circular issued in this regard by NMC, it has been informed that in observance of the 11th International Day of Yoga with the theme "Yoga for One Earth, One Health" on 21st June, 2025. It has been decided to organise a Yoga event in the NMC on Saturday, 2lst June, 2025, 06:00 AM onwards. Therefore, all officers and Staff of NMC are requested to participate mandatorily in the event as per the schedule, the NMC mentioned.

As per the circular, the event will start from 06:00 AM with the Distribution of Yoga kits at the Reception area and end till 08:00 am with the Distribution of refreshments near the Fountain area. Below are the details of the event-

 Medical Dialogues earlier reported that the celebration of International Day of Yoga (IDY) is held annually on 21st June. The event aims to generate awareness about Yoga's vast potential in improving overall health and well-being and to inculcate the practice of Yoga among the citizens of the country. Yoga is a vital part of comprehensive primary healthcare at Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM), and group sessions are regularly being conducted at AAM to promote holistic health. Moreover, mass demonstrations are organised on IDY every year for the wide dissemination of the benefits of practising Yoga.
