Health Secretary Preeti Sudan takes interim charge as FSSAI chief

New Delhi: Health Secretary Preeti Sudan was given interim charge of chairperson, Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), an official order said.
Sudan is a 1983 batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved entrustment of the interim charge of the FSSAI chairperson to Preeti Sudan, the Secretary, Department of Heath and Family Welfare, with effect from July 28, 2018, the order said.
