Himachal Pradesh Government and M/s RTS Rural Technologies Private Limited, New Delhi has signed an agreement to implement Mukhya Mantri State Health Care Scheme in the State.

The Agreement was signed yesterday by Himahcal pradesh Additional Health Chief Secretary Vineet Chawdhry and Chief Executive Officer, M/s RTS Rural Technologies Sudhir Kumar on behalf of Support Agency.

The agency would implement healthcare scheme to provide cashless treatment at the time of hospitalisation to the Sr Citizens above 80 years of age, Ekal Naaris, Part Time workers, Daily Wage Workers, Anganwari Workers/Helpers, Mid Day Meal Workers, Contractual Employees (Government Department/Autonomous Bodies/Societies under Government/Boards/Corporations) and Persons with more than 70 per cent disability.

The scheme to be roll over from February, 2016 issuing smart cards at gram Panchayat by the firm. In addition to this KIOSK to be set up at district headquarter after 10th January, 2016 where beneficiary could prepare such card in an emergency.

Under the scheme, free medical treatment will be provided with a maximum coverage of Rs 30,000/- per year on floater, cashless and paperless basis to smart card holder.

The benefit of Rs 1,75,000/ will be made available for cardiac and Cardiothoracic Surgeries, Genito Urinary Surgery, Neurosurgery, Radiation Oncology, Trauma, Transplant Surgeries, Spinal Surgeries, Surgical Gastroenterology, Hemophilia and Cancer for all the Smart Card holders, will be provided.

The scheme will benefit more than 1.50 lakh families. State government also signed another agreement for 104 Comprehensive call centre with a M/s Piramal Swasthya Management and Research Institute, Hyderabad by Mission Director, National Health Mission. This call centre will be made functional in next three months.

The salient features of call centre are Mother & Child Tracking System (MCTS) for giving reminder Calls or SMS alerts to beneficiaries as well as Health Service Providers or Workers.UNI ML VS KU SV RAI1025
