Total Posts - 20



  • Sr. Resident - 4 Posts (Surgery=2{1 each OBC & UR}, Gynaecology=2 {1 each OBC & UR

  • Jr. Resident - 16 Posts (Surgery=5, Medical Anas-ITU=2, Reserve=2, ENT=1, Radiotherapy=1 &  Gynae=1)


The Vacancies are in the Department of Surgery, Gynaecology, Surgery, Medical Anaesthesia-ITU, ENT, Radiotherapy, Gynaecology, Junior Resident).

Educational Qualification and Experience:




  • Sr. Resident- A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification ) to the Indian Medical Council Act. 1965 and postgraduate degree/Diploma in the respective discipline from recognized university and must produce MCI registration certificate for the same at the time of joining.



  • Jr. Resident- A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification ) to the Indian Medical Council Act. 1965.


Age Limit:




  • Sr. Resident - 37 Years

  • Jr. Resident - 30 Years


Pay Scale: As per under Govt. rules.


Selection Procedure:


The list of candidates called for interview along with date and time of interview will be displayed in the Institute’s Notice Board and Website www.cnci.org.in on 17/05/2019. No individual call letters for interview will be separately issued.



Application Fee

Application form may be downloaded from the CNCI WEBSITE www.cnci.org.in from 18/04/19 to 08/05/19 and should submit the required application fee by bank draft on payment of Rs.200/- (for General & OBC category of candidates) and Rs. 50 (for SC, ST, PWD & Female category of candidates) payable in any Nationalized Bank in Kolkata in favour of Director, CNCI, along with the application OR in cash from the Cash Section of the Hospital on all working days between 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. (up to 2.00 p.m. on Saturday).


Duly completed applications along with self-attested copies of relevant documents should be reached at to the Office of the Director by 10/05/2019 positively by normal post on in person. The applications received after the prescribed date or incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
