Lucknow: The Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow has released Vacancies for Faculty posts on a Contract Basis in Different departments.  

SGPGIMS is Super-Speciality teaching and training Medical Institution, situated to the Southeast of Lucknow city on Lucknow-Raebareli Road. Emergency Medicine is a specialty dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of unforeseen illness or injury. Initial evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of any patient requiring expeditious medical, surgical, or psychiatric care are part of EM.

Total no of vacancies:- 19

Associate Professor:- 01

The Vacancies are in the Department of - Emergency Medicine.

Assistant Professor:- 18

The Vacancies are in the Department of - Neonatology, Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Gastroenterology Surgical, Nuclear Medicine, Gastroenterology, ENT, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Surgical, Endocrinology, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, and Neurology.

What are the General Instructions?

(I) The application form may be downloaded from the Institute's website www.sgpgi.ac.in

(ii) Application form may be obtained from Executive Registrar of the Institute against demand draft of Rs.2000/-for applicants within the country and US $ 100.00 or equivalent foreign currency for overseas candidates in favor of Director, SGPGIMS, Lucknow Academic Account, payable at (SBI-Code No.7789) SGPGIMS, Lucknow. Candidates should write their names on the backside of the draft.

(iii) Complete the application form with required self-attested documents along with demand draft should be sent only through speed post/registered post to The Director, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Raebareli Road, Lucknow-226014 (U.P.)" on or before 25th June 2021. Advertisement No., name of the post & department is to be superscribed on mailing envelopes. Two self-addressed envelopes size 26cmX11cm each with Rs.40=00 postal stamp should also be enclosed with the application form.

(iv) Incomplete applications will not be considered and will be treated as rejected.

(v) Candidates in employment should attach NOC from the institute where they are serving along with the application or produce NOC at the time of interview.

(vi) The numbers of posts indicated above are provisional and subject to change without prior notice.

(vii) Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill the advertised post.

(viii) Director reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.

(ix) Candidates may be short-listed for interview by the Institute subject to the number of applications

against advertised post wherever required.

(x) Jurisdiction is Allahabad High Court at Lucknow Bench Lucknow only.
