ESIC is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
The vacancies are in the Departments of Cardiology, Endocrinology, Haematology, Nephrology, Neurology, Medical Oncology, Paediatric Surgery, Urology, Vascular Surgery, Surgical Oncologist, Interventional Radiology, Neurosurgery, Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, and Rheumatology.
Venue: ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Ashok Pillar Road, K.K. Nagar, Chennai.
What are the General Conditions for Eligible Candidates?
1. The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respects can appear for the walk-in interview as per the days mentioned above. However, One candidate can appear for the interview only once in a month.
2. The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for. They must be fulfilling eligibility criteria in all respects as on the date of interview.
Important Instruction:-
1. All the candidates are requested to appear for document verification along with duly filled in Application Form as attached within the scheduled time (09.00AM – 11.00 AM) with proper protection like wearing face mask and carrying sanitizer and maintaining social distance. No candidate will be entertained to attend document verification after 11.00 AM on all scheduled dates as mentioned above.
2. Only the Candidates, whose documents are verified and found eligible for the post of Full Time Super Specialist will be allowed to attend walk-in interview.
3. Reservation of posts is applicable as per Government of India Guidelines.
4. Two post are horizontally reserved for PwD category in identified posts.
5. Only when there is no person with benchmark disability available for the post, the employer shall fill up the vacancy by appointment of a person, other than a person with benchmark disability, vide DoPT office memorandum dated 15.01.2018. The person who suffers from not less than 40% of disability will only be eligible for the benefit of reservation and other relaxations under PWD category as permissible under the rule. The applicant must have a valid Disability Certificate issued from the competent authority. i.e, Medical Board duly constituted by the Central or State Government. Certificate issued by the Medical Practitioner, Hospital or any other Institution will not be considered. The Physical disability of finally selected candidates would be ascertained by a Medical Board of the Institute specifically constituted for this purpose, if deemed necessary.
6. The Dean, ESIC Medical College & Hospital reserves the right to vary these vacancies including increase or decrease or cancellation of filling up of any or all post without assigning any reason.
7. Change in date of interview, etc. if any, will be intimated on website only. Candidates are advised to check the website regularly for any updated information relating to the recruitment. Other terms and conditions as mentioned in Annexure “A”.
8. The engagement will be subject to outcome in case of recruitment related litigations if any
The following testimonials should be submitted at the time of walk-in-interview:
(i) Two copy of recent self-attested passport size photograph.
(ii) Self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age (Date of Birth), Educational Qualification, Experience and Research Papers, Publications etc.
(iii) Original certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age (Date of Birth), Educational Qualification, Experience and Research Papers, Publications etc., should be submitted at the time of interview.
(iv) Certificate issued by competent medical board in respect of Persons with Bench Mark Disabilities.
(v) Candidates seeking reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD category must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the notice and as per the instructions issued by Govt. of India.
They should also produce original certificates in the prescribed format of Govt. of India in support of their claim.
(vi) Persons working in Central Government/State Government/Central Autonomous bodies/State Autonomous bodies/Central PSUs/State PSUs/have to produce no objection certificate from their employer at the time of document verification.
