JIPMER became an institution of national importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in the year 2008. JIPMER offers various undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses. Located in Pondicherry, JIPMER is also a fully functional hospital that provides medical treatments to patients from all over the world. It has about 200 faculty members 3,000 staff and 360 resident physicians.

Eligible Candidates (How to Apply):-

Eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed proforma along with self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates and documents to the address below through Registered/Speed Post, in an envelope super-scribed as “Application for the post of Director, JIPMER” Deputy Director (Admn.) First Floor, Administrative Block, JIPMER Dhanvantari Nagar, Puducherry 605 006.

1. The last date of receipt of application in the prescribed proforma along with copies of self attested certificates and documents is on or before August 12, 2024, by 4:30 PM.

2. Applicant must submit self-attested copies of certificates with regard to proof of age, educational qualifications, experience etc.

3. Applicant must forward the application in the prescribed proforma along with the following documents through proper channel (wherever applicable):

a) A certificate to the effect that the present employer/parent organization has “No Objection” to his/her applying for the post of Director, JIPMER so that, in case of selection, he/she will be relieved by the present employer/parent organization to join the post of Director, JIPMER.

b) APARs of the applicant for the last five years. If any of the APARs is not available, then the APAR of the preceding year(s) must be submitted so that five APARs of the applicant are available.

c) A certificate of Vigilance Clearance in respect of applicant duly signed by a competent authority.

4. Age, qualification and experience will be computed as on the closing date for applications.

5. Late and incomplete application will not be considered.

6. Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.

Note:

1. Applicant who had applied previously in response to the advertisement issued in June 2023, in case wishes to apply again, he/she must apply afresh in the prescribed proforma with all relevant documents/certificates.
