SGPGIMS is Super-Speciality teaching and training Medical Institution, situated to the Southeast of Lucknow city on Lucknow-Raebareli Road. Emergency Medicine is a speciality dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of unforeseen illness or injury. Initial evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of any patient requiring expeditious medical, surgical, or psychiatric care are part of EM. Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences has been established under the State Legislature Act in 1983 and is named after Sanjay Gandhi. It was created by the state of Uttar Pradesh as a center of excellence for providing medical care, education, and research of the highest order.

What are the General Instructions?
The candidates must bring the following documents for submission:
1. A bank draft of Rs.200/-(rupees two hundred only) in favor of 'Director, SGPGI, Academic Account' payable at SBI, SGPGI Branch, Lucknow.
2. Self-certified copy of
a. Matriculation certificate/age proof or any authentic age proof certificate.
b. Six recent passport-size photographs.
c. MBBS/MS/MD Mark-sheet/Degree or pass certificate & MCI/State Medical registration proof.
d.Certificate/Proof of MBBS/MS/MD degree's recognition by MCI.
e. In case of reserve category candidate, caste certificate from competent authority issued wi hin last 6 months.
f. Xerox copies of all relevant Certificates and Testimonials.
g.Candidates will also bring original documents for verification.
