New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi Employees State Insurance Hospital (IG ESI Hospital Jhilmil) has announced vacancies for the Senior Resident, Junior Specialist, and Super Specialist posts in different departments in this medical institute.

ESI is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

Total no of Vacancies: 44

Senior Resident:- 19

The Vacancies are in the Departments of - Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynaecology, ENT, and General Medicine.

Senior Resident against GDMO:- 18

The Vacancies are in the Departments of Anesthesia, Gynaecology, Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, and General Medicine.

Junior Specialist:- 01

The Vacancies are in the Departments of Anesthesia.

Super Specialist:- 06

The Vacancies are in the Departments of Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Neurology, Urology, and Endocrinology.

The date of walk In Interview is 11th March 2024.

What are the Instructions for Eligible Candidates:-

Applicants are advised to reach the office of the Medical Superintendent, IG ESI Hospital, Delhi on the date of walk-in-interview i.e. on 11.03.2024 at 9.00 A.M. along with original documents and one set of photocopies (selfattested) as listed on the application form. No candidate will be entertained after 10.30 A.M.

1. Candidates belonging to the UR/OBC category have to deposit a Demand Draft (Non-Refundable) of Rs. 300/- in favor of “ESI FUND ACCOUNT NO – 1” payable at New Delhi at the time of interview. SC/ST candidates have to deposit a Demand Draft (Non-Refundable) of Rs. 75/-. While PWD/Female candidates have been exempted for payment of fee.

2. Candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation on ground of belonging to the OBC should submit the community certificate as prescribed by GOI, DOPT OM No. 36012/12/22/93-ESTT. (SCT) dated 08/09/93 which is modified by GOI DOPT OM No. 36033/3/2004(Res.) dated 09/03/2004 and time to time failing which the benefit of reservation/relaxation will not be given or their application shall be rejected. The OBC Certificate should be latest and not prior to one year from the date of interview.

3. Candidates seeking reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC/EWS category must produce original certificates in the prescribed format of Govt. of India.

4. The selected candidate for the post of Senior Residents (for 3 year,1 year), Contractual Specialist -3 year and Part Time Super Specialist-1 year will have to furnish a DD of current date for an amount of Rs.10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand only) drawn in favor of ESI FUND ACCOUNT NO 1” payable at New Delhi at the time of joining as security money deposit.

5. The candidates must have applied with Delhi Medical Council at the time of Interview and must be registered at the time of joining.

6. No claim of any service benefit like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical allowance, Seniority, Promotion and leave etc., will be admissible.

7. Candidates working in Govt./ Private Hospital / Institute should produce NOC from their department at the time of Interview.

8. Applicants having completed 3 years of Senior Residency period in any hospital, are not eligible for applying under residency scheme.

9. The experience will not be issued in case SR-3 years / SR-01 year and contractual Specialist resigns before completing 6 months of services.

10. The Services can be terminated at any time without serving any notice / assigning reason. The resignation of the post will require one month notice in advance or deposition of one-month salary.

11. Candidate suffering from 40% or more of the relevant disability shall only be eligible for reservation for PH Category. Certificate of disability from any govt. Hospital should be submitted at the time of interview.

12. Other terms and conditions shall be as per Govt. of India rules.

13. Suppression of facts (if comes to the notice of Competent Authority) will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature and termination of service without notice period and forfeit of security deposit and pending dues.

The Medical Superintendent IGESI Hospital Jhilmil reserves the right to fill any or no post or cancel the interview, at any stage without assigning any reason thereof.

Note:

1. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.

2. The candidates will have to make their own arrangements of stay.

3. The candidates must bring original documents for verification at 9.00 AM Sharp on the date of interview.

4. The number of posts may increase or decrease as per requirement with the approval of Medical Superintendent. 5. Reservation of PWD candidate/EWS Candidate will be as per rule.
