Walk-In-Interview At IGIMS Patna for Junior Resident Vacancies
Patna: The Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) Patna has released 58 vacancies for the post of Junior Resident on Adhoc Basis. The Selection will be done on the basis of Walk-in-interview.
IGIMS was established on 19th November 1983, as an autonomous organization on the pattern of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The objective was to provide super specialty medical facilities in Bihar. On 27th January 1983 Cabinet approved the completion of this massive project in 4 phases within a span of six (6) years. According to the decision of the State Government, 130.20 Acres of land was transferred to IGIMS.

As lockdown continues in the containment zone, the interview will be online telephonically of those candidates who will be unable to attend physically. Application Procedure:
Interested Indian citizen, who fulfills the essential qualification etc., are invited to participate in this Walk-in-Interview as mentioned above, along with their application form in the prescribed proforma with copies of all supportive certificate/document and also bring all original certificate/documents, in proof of Age, Qualification/s, Registration, and Caste, etc., and also a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/-(Rupees One Thousand) Rs.250/-(Two Hundred & Fifty) For SC/ST candidate) -Non-Refundable-as cost of application, in favor of "Director, IGIMS, Patna" payable at Patna.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of IGIMS candidates for Junior Resident will be based upon aggregate marks obtained in 3'0 Professional MBBS Part-II examination & outside of IGIMS candidate will be made on the merit, according to the requirement of Junior Resident and following the Reservation's Rule of the Govt. of Bihar. Reservation benefitls shall be applicable to Bihar State domicile candidate only and the applicant from out-side the State of Bihar will not be entitled for the benefit of reservation. Physically-Handicapped candidate will be given the benefit of reservation and relaxation as per rule of Government of Bihar.
