New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi Employees State Insurance Hospital (IG ESI Hospital Jhilmil) has announced vacancies for the Senior Resident post on an ad hoc basis in different departments in this medical institute.
ESI is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

The Vacancies are in the Department of - Anesthesia, General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery, Casualty, Dermatology, Opthalmology, ENT, Microbiology, and Paediatrics.

What are the Instructions for Eligible Candidates:-
1. Candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation on grounds of belonging to the OBC should submit the community certificate as prescribed by GOI, DOPT OM No. 36012/12/22/93-EST. (SCT) dated 08/09/93 which is modified by GOI DOPT OM No. 36033/3/2004(Res.) dated 09/03/2004 and from time to time failing which the benefit of reservation/relaxation will not be given or their application shall be rejected. The OBC Certificate should be the latest and not prior to one year from the date of the interview.
2. The selected candidate for the post of Senior Residents (39 days) will have to furnish a DD of an amount of Rs.10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand only) drawn in favour of ESI FUND ACCOUNT NO – 1" payable at New Delhi at the time of joining as security money deposit.
3. The candidates must have applied with Delhi Medical Council at the time of the Interview and must be registered at the time of joining.
4. Candidates working in Govt. institutes should produce NOC from their department at the time of the Interview.
5. Other terms and conditions shall be as per Govt. of India's rules.
6. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
7. The number of posts may increase or decrease as per the requirement and approval of the Medical Superintendent.
