Guwahati: The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC Model Hospital Guwahati) has released vacancies for the post of Specialist on a Contract Basis. 

ESIC is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

Total no. of vacancies- 01

The Vacancies are in the Department of - Chest Pulmonology.

The date of walk-in-interview is 13th July 2022.

Venue of Interview: Chamber of Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital Beltola, Guwahati-781022.

Documents Required at the time of Walk-In Interview: 

1. Age Proof(Class 10th certificate/Birth certificate)

2. MBBS Certificate.

3. Two Recent Passport size Photographs.

4. Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC & I&A Certificate for EWS candidates. OBC candidates are required to submit latest OBC Certificate as per Central Govt. Proforma, not more than One year old from the date of interview. No relaxation/reservation would be applicable to SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidate applying for unreserved vacancies.)

5. PG Degree/ Diploma Certificate.

6. MCI/SMC Registration Certificate with MD/MS/DNB qualification.

7. No Objection Certificate from present employer, if applicable. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the interview without NOC from his employer (Also applicable for Doctors under Bond).

8. Experience Certificate, if applicable.

What are the General instructions?

1. The recruitments will be purely on contractual basis and selected candidates will have no claim for regularization of the service in the hospital.

2. Private practices of any kind will not be allowed for full time contractual engagements.

3. ESI Corporation may increase or decrease or cancel filling up of any or all the post without assigning any reasons at the discretion of the Appointing Authority.

4. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.

5. Canvassing in any form shall be a disqualification.

6. Hostel accommodation/ quarters will not be provided.

7. The candidate who is in service should submit "No Objection Certificate" from the employer at the time of interview.

8. The posts are contractual and the contractual engagement may be terminated/ discontinued by either side giving one month prior notice to this effect without assigning any reason.

9. The decision of the Selection Board will be final on all aspects of selection and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances.

10. The Selection is subject to the candidates proving their medical fitness.

11. In case of selection, OFFER OF APPOINTMENT will be issued as per requirement.

12. The selected candidates will have to furnish a DD/Bankers Cheque for an amount of Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) drawn in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1" payable at Guwahati, towards security deposit.

13. If the selected candidates resigns/terminates his/her contract within 09 months of commencement of the contract with or without prior notice, the amount of Rs. 30,000/- deposited as security money will be forfeited.

14. If no candidate turns up for the post of FTS, then PTS will be preferred.
