Kurnool General Hospital (KGH) in Andhra Pradesh will be performing open heart surgeries starting from February 2016. The ground process of setting up the necessary infrastructure including installation of advanced equipment's is going on a rapid pace.
A total of Rs 4 crore has been sanctioned by the government to A.P. Health and Medical Infrastructure Development Corporation. The amount will be used for buying equipment's to perform open heart surgeries and Rs. 2 crore for setting up a modern intensive cardiac care unit and ward.
