LVPEI inaugurates Brien Holden Institute of Optometry and Vision Sciences

The Brien Holden Institute of Optometry and Vision Sciences (BHIOVS) was inaugurated at L V Prasad Eye Institute’s Kismatpur campus on 13th September.

The Chief Guest was Prof Desmond Fonn, Distinguished Professor Emeritus, School of Optometry and Vision Science, University of Waterloo.

Also present were heads of schools of optometry, academicians and established practitioners of Optometry from several schools in India, United States, Australia, UK, South-East Asia and Africa. BHIOVS encompasses all activities of Optometry at the institute including education, research, patient care, public health and professional advocacy and policy making.
