MCI permission to 543 MD, MS more seats in 64 medical colleges, Check out details
New Delhi: Through a public notice, Ministry Of Health and Family Welfare informed about the lastest increase PG (Broad Specialty) Courses for 2018-19. The ministry through the medium of LOP informed about the addition of PG seats owing to One Time Increase due to changes in the student-teacher ratio.
The notice added that the College/Institute shall fulfill the minimum required facilities like infrastructure, beds, faculty etc at the time of assessment failure which the Central Government may withdraw the above permission.
This permission for an increase in seats in the above courses and admission of students will be till such time the first batch of students admitted against the above course (s) appears for the first final examination in the subject unless the permission is withdrawn earlier. The College authorities may take up the matter for recognition of the qualifications under Section 11(2) of IMC Act at the time of first batch admitted against the course appears for final year examinations.
It shall be ensured by the States & UTs/Medical Colleges/Institutes concerned that
1. Adequate funds are provided in Budget regularly till all facilities are provided.
2. 50% Seats are contributed to All India Quota (Except the Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir).
