MCI has halted admission for 250 MBBS seats in Odisha coinciding with the counseling for medical students to begin in the state tomorrow
In a recent order by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in the state of Odisha, the admission for 250 MBBS seats, with 100 seats each in the Hi-Tech medical college in Rourkela and Sardar Rajas medical college, and 50 out of the 150 seats in city based Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) is reported to have been put on hold. The decision by MCI comes on the grounds of lack of required infrastructure.
