DJ College of Medical Sciences and Research obtains Uttar Pradesh Government's Clearance for MBBS Course

MODINAGAR, GHAZIABAD, January 16, 2024 - DJ College of Medical Sciences and Research, operated by Jassar Dental Medical Education Health Foundation, received clearance from the Uttar Pradesh State Government to establish its MBBS program. The state government has issued a no-objection certificate for the establishment of DJ College of Medical Sciences and Research college in the city of Modinagar. The institution has also obtained a consent of affiliation from the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow.

The new medical college will be part of DJ Group of Institutions, a renowned name in medical education since 1997. The group currently operates multiple healthcare institutions, including dental, ayurvedic, nursing, pharmacy, and paramedical facilities. These are located within their sprawling 75-acre residential campus in Modinagar, Ghaziabad.

Rhitik Jassar, COO & Secretary of DJ Group of Institutions, expressed his enthusiasm about this development: "This marks a big milestone in our journey. DJ Group has been the first to bring many innovations to Modinagar - we set up the city's first dental college, first ayurvedic college, first nursing and paramedical college, and one of the first engineering and pharmacy colleges. This will be the region's first medical college and only the second one in the entire district of Ghaziabad." This will make it one of the largest healthcare facilities in Uttar Pradesh. The development addresses a critical need in Modinagar, which currently lacks a multi-specialty hospital and advanced diagnostic facilities. Our city presently relies on small 20-30 bedded nursing homes and has no CT scan or MRI facilities, forcing most patients to seek treatment in neighbouring Meerut and Ghaziabad. This medical college will transform Modinagar into a hub for affordable, accessible, and quality healthcare while reinforcing its position as a hub for higher education."
