AIIMS Delhi Challenges HC order on minor rape survivor's pregnancy
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Thursday approached the Delhi High Court against an order allowing a 27-week pregnant minor rape survivor to terminate pregnancy.
A high court single judge on June 30 ordered AIIMS to terminate the 16-year-old girl's pregnancy.
According to the PTI news report, AIIMS, before a bench of Chief Justice D K Upadhyaya and Justice Anish Dayal, argued that terminating her pregnancy would hamper her future reproductive health.
