Transgenders strip and attack Doctors, staff at Jaunpur hospital over FIR before treatment

Chaos erupted at Amar Shaheed Umanath Singh District Hospital in Jaunpur on Friday night when a group of around 20-25 transgender individuals, some reportedly naked, stormed the premises in protest. They allegedly attacked doctors, nursing officers, pharmacists, and ward attendants after being asked to file an FIR first in connection with an assault case of one of their members. A video of the incident quickly went viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage.

The 45-minute-long chaos left four people seriously injured and caused panic among patients and their attendants, who were terrified to witness transgender individuals running naked through the emergency ward, chasing and assaulting doctors and hospital staff.

During the altercation, the group also destroyed the hospital property by climbing onto surgical tables during the altercation and then removing their clothes inside the ward. This caused disturbance and spread fear throughout the hospital premises.
