SC refuses to stay NEET PG Counselling 2022
While considering a plea alleging serious discrepancies in the NEET-PG 2022 test, the Supreme Court on Monday refused to put a stay on the Counselling Process for the exam, which is likely to commence from September 1, 2022.
In the plea, the MBBS graduates challenged the decision of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBE) of not releasing the answer keys and question paper for the exam.

The Gujarat High Court recently granted permission to a group of more than 40 students to get registered as pharmacists after completing their Diploma in Pharmacy and receiving the appropriate training in medical stores for three months and 500 hours.
This came in line with the petition that contested the Gujarat Pharmacy Council's decision to refuse registration to more than 40 students, claiming they lacked the necessary eligibility.

Hyderabad doctor gets 10 years in jail for sexually assaulting patient
Held guilty for sexually assaulting a woman, a renowned Pulmonologist based in Hyderabad, got sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment by Xl Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge at Nampally Criminal Courts.
Apart from the jail term, the Sessions Court on Monday has also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the 55-year old doctor. The renowned doctor, Dr B. Vijay Bhaskar was the first candidate for getting a doctorate degree in pulmonary medicine in India.
