NMC warns against Impersonator claiming to be Chairman Dr BN Gangadhar

The National Medical Commission (NMC) warned the public against an impersonator allegedly engaging with others using a specific mobile number and claiming to be the chairperson of the Commission, Dr BN Gangadhar.

Issuing a warning to the public, the Establishment Section of the Apex Medical Commission has released a Public Notice in this regard. The Commission has advised the public not to get engaged in any conversation with the person using the concerned mobile number.

Dead man' comes alive after ambulance hits pothole in Haryana: Family

An 80-year-old man from Haryana, initially declared dead by doctors in Patiala, experienced a miraculous turn of events during transportation to his hometown. Darshan Singh Brar's family claimed that as his supposedly lifeless body was en route for funeral rites, the ambulance hit a pothole, prompting his grandson to notice signs of life.

Sensing a heartbeat, they diverted to the nearest hospital, where doctors confirmed his vitality. Brar, a heart patient on a ventilator for four days, is now receiving critical treatment at a Karnal hospital. His family hails the incident as a miracle, expressing hope for a speedy recovery.

With the elderly population expected to rise significantly by 2050, the issue is gaining attention.


FMGE December 2023 admit card to be released on 15th January: NBE

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced that the admit card for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2023 is to be released on 15th January 2024.

The candidates can download the admit card from the NBE official website. Previously as per the information bulletin, the date of release of the admit card was 12th January 2024.
