A person posing as a medical representative of a leading pharmaceutical company was arrested by the cyber cell unit of Uttar Pradesh’s Special Task Force (UP-STF) from West Bengal after a doctor in Greater Noida complained that he was duped of ₹18.72 lakh by a medical representative.

Delhi Court rescues Paediatric Surgeon accused of removing infant's kidney

A Delhi court has set aside an order passed by the Metropolitan Magistrate directing the registration of FIR against a paediatric surgeon in a case accusing him of removing a two-year-old boy's kidney during nephrectomy in 2005, alleging criminal medical negligence. 

Report states NEET 2023 registrations expected to begin by February end

The NEET UG 2023 registrations are likely to begin at the end of February.

The registration was earlier scheduled between the second week of January and the last week of February.

While speaking with Indian Express, NTA Chief Vineet Joshi confirmed, "The registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2023 exam will commence by the end of this month."

CDSCO panel rejects Glenmark Pharma proposal for use of Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray for prevention of COVID 19

Citing lack of strong evidence on the use of Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray for prevention of COVID-19 infection, the Subject Expert Committee (SEC) functional under the Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has rejected the drug major Glenmark's proposal for the additional indication of Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray.

This came after the drug major Glenmark presented their proposal before the committee regarding the use of Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray for prevention of COVID-19 infection
