The court mandated the formation of a medical board by the director of AIIMS to assess Kejriwal's medical needs, including the necessity of insulin. It emphasized compliance with a prescribed diet and exercise regimen, highlighting disparities between Kejriwal's dietary intake and medical recommendations. The court admonished deviations from the prescribed diet, noting the responsibility of jail authorities to ensure adherence. Additionally, it underscored the provision of round-the-clock medical attention within Delhi jails and established protocols for specialized medical interventions. Despite Kejriwal's claims of medical negligence, the court's order prioritizes adherence to medical protocols and regulations within the jail setting.

During the hearing, Justices Hima Kohli and Ahsanuddin Amanullah questioned the representation of the apology, specifically asking for the original paper cuttings of the advertisements.
