NEET PG 2025: MCC Notifies Additional Seats, Withdrawals for Round 3 Seat Matrix

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notice announcing the addition and withdrawal of postgraduate medical seats in the Round 3 seat matrix of the NEET PG Counselling for the academic year 2025.

According to the official notification issued by the MCC in this regard, the authority has received information from participating medical institutions regarding changes in seat availability. As per the notice, the seats identified for withdrawal will be removed from the Round 3 seat matrix before seat processing, while the newly approved seats have already been added, allowing candidates to exercise fresh choices accordingly.

NEET PG 2025: Supreme Court to Review NBE's Non-Disclosure Policy

The Supreme Court of India recently expressed concerns about the logic behind the non-disclosure policy of NEET PG question papers and answer keys adopted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) NBE.

Disability Certificate Row: MHA Asks NHRC to Probe Maharashtra Medical Official

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has been asked to take cognisance of the allegations of irregularities in disability certificate involving a senior medical education administrator in Maharashtra.

Writing to the Secretary General of NHRC, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs referred to the complaints received in this regard on the CPGRAM portal and directed, "It is requested that appropriate action may be taken in the matter and a suitable reply be sent to the petitioners urgently under intimation to this Ministry."
