Doctor certificate not needed for 60 years plus to avail boosters: Govt

The Union Government has said that people above 60 years with comorbidities will not be required to upload or provide a medical certificate from a doctor to be eligible for the "precautionary" dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan wrote to Chief Secretaries of all states and union territories passing certain directions related to the vaccination does for children aged between 15 and 17 years of age and precaution dose for healthcare workers and those 60 and above.

Mankind Pharma launches anti-COVID-19 pill Molulife- Molnupiravir 200mg

Taking a significant step towards countering COVID-19 in India, drug major Mankind Pharma has announced the launch of the oral anti- COVID pill "Molulife"(Molnupiravir 200mg).

Molnupiravir (MK-4482 / EIDD-2801) is an investigational, orally administered form of a potent ribonucleoside analog that works by introducing RNA-like building blocks into the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the causative agent of the COVID-19 genome as it multiplies, creating numerous mutations, disrupting replication, and killing the virus.

MUHS to hold 21st Convocation Ceremony on 7th February 2022, MBBS, BDS, PG medical, AYUSH, nursing candidates to be awarded certificates

Through a recent notice, the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), has announced the conduction of its 21st Convocation Ceremony. Successful candidates of the MBBS, BDS, UG/PG AYUSH, MD, MS, DM, MCh, PG Diploma, Nursing and other health courses will be awarded the Degree Certificates / Diploma Certificates in this Convocation Ceremony.

The 21st Convocation Ceremony of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik will be held on 7th February 2022, as per the MUHS.
