2 MP Doctors booked after 70 Ayushman Bharat patients admitted in hotel instead of Hospital

A doctor couple based in Madhya Pradesh was charged with cheating and forgery after 70 patients covered under the Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) were found admitted in a hotel instead of an adjoining hospital.

Local police and health department officials had on Friday conducted a raid during which the 70 Ayushman Bharat cardholders of the health scheme were found in Hotel Vega, while as per records, they were admitted to the Central India Kidney Hospital for treatment, the officials said.
