After NEET Paper Leak Row, Rahul Gandhi Alleges UGC-NET Exam Irregularities

After the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak controversy, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again targeted the Centre over the credibility of national entrance examinations, alleging that fresh irregularities have surfaced in the UGC-NET June 2026 exam. Citing media reports, Gandhi claimed a 100-page PDF related to question paper setting was circulated just before the examination, with nearly 90 Sociology questions allegedly matching the actual paper.

He further alleged that question papers were being sold for ₹2.25 lakh across Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan, and claimed the same network promised access to upcoming exams such as CSIR-NET, HTET and ADA. reports PTI.

Referring repeatedly to the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak, Gandhi said the government had failed to learn from the controversy despite the exam being cancelled and reconducted, leaving lakhs of medical aspirants distressed. He accused the Modi government of ignoring repeated examination scams and alleged that students' years of hard work were being disregarded. Gandhi also claimed no accountability or investigation would follow, urging students to raise a united voice for reforms in India's examination system.
