The Central Government has approved 10,023 medical seats under the Centrally Sponsored Schemes across the government medical colleges from the financial year 2025-2026 to 2028-2029, the Union Minister of State for Health, Smt Anupriya Patel informed the Rajya Sabha recently.
Minister Patel also shared the details of the MBBS and PG medical seats that have increased during the last six years.
