Delhi covid cases shoot past 1000 mark, positivity 6.5 percent

As per the Delhi government's daily health bulletin, 1,118 new Covid cases and two deaths were recorded on Tuesday. Following this, the covid cases cross the 1,000 mark, up from 614 a day earlier.
It is believed the B.A.2 variant, which led to the Omicron surge in January, is prevalent in Delhi. Experts are calling for more genome sequencing to confirm if other variants have made an appearance
