Doctor who got struck off from MD emergency medicine course at AIIMS due to amputation after accident gets HC relief

In a major relief to a doctor whose right arm had to be amputated owing to a severe accident, the High Court of Chhattisgarh has directed the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur (AIIMS Raipur) to consider the case of the petitioner sympathetically in accordance with law and permit him to join any other department as per his suitability and fitness. The MBBS doctor was pursuing MD in Emergency Medicine at AIIMS Raipur before he was struck off from the college roll after the institute found him unfit to continue his studies.
