A recent case of violence against medical professionals was reported at the neurosurgery department of Guru Tegh Bahadur (GTB) Hospital, where a patient, reportedly intoxicated, became aggressive during an examination, verbally abused on-duty doctors, nurses, and staff.

A patient, allegedly drunk, created a ruckus in the neurosurgery department of Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital during treatment, breaking fixtures and threatening doctors on duty, the hospital authorities said on Tuesday.
