Federal court has been requested to extend a temporary stay on the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) ban on its e-cigarettes and flavored pods by Juul Labs.
The FDA's ban on Juul products is part of the agency's efforts to regulate the multibillion-dollar vaping industry based on scientific evidence — the same way it regulates the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
For a company to keep its vaping products on the market, it has to show that the benefits to the public outweigh the risks Trusted Source.
