Gujarat health workers launch indefinite strike
Health workers in Gujarat have initiated an indefinite strike, seeking resolution of their long-pending issues. On March 18, in Botad, they submitted a memorandum to the District Collector, emphasising their need for justice. In response to the strike, the state government has invoked the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) against the striking health workers.
They warned that if their demands were not met, the union would take stricter action.
