Health ministry alerts 6 states on new, emerging COVID cases

Six states have been directed by the government to examine the rising coronavirus situation at the micro level and surveillance, test, and monitor new and emerging covid clusters.

A significant rise in cases of coronavirus has been noticed in six Indian states, i.e., Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. Maharashtra has reported an increase in weekly cases from 355 to 668 with positivity rate of 1.92 percent.
