India's 1st case of Omicron subvariant BQ.1 detected in Pune

Maharashtra Health department said on Monday that India's first case of Omicron subvariant BQ.1 has been detected in Pune.

The state health department and experts have asked not to ignore flu-like symptoms and seek medical advice at the earliest.
