IT raids Katihar Medical College and Hospital

In a recent development, the Income Tax department has initiated search operations on various educational institutions owned by RJD Rajya Sabha MP Ashfaque Ahmad. This includes the renowned Katihar Medical College and Hospital, which is among the prominent institutions in the area.

Katihar Medical College is a constituent unit of Al-Karim University, Katihar and is run by the Al-Karim Education Trust, Patna with Karim being the main trustee and founder chancellor of the Katihar-based Al Karim University. The college offers MBBS courses along with several PG courses including PG in the subjects of Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Bio-chemistry, Community Medicine, General Medicine, Dermatology Venereology & Leprosy are available. Currently the medical college offers 150 MBBS seats.
