Misdiagnosed for years, Elderly man's life saved by rare tumour surgery at KGMU

An elderly man from Gonda, who had been wrongly diagnosed with a heart attack at multiple hospitals, found life-saving relief at King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow. For four years, he suffered from severe abdominal pain and bloating, but his condition was repeatedly misdiagnosed as a heart attack.
However, after being admitted to KGMU, detailed tests revealed the real cause: a rare, 8-kilogram abdominal tumour causing internal bleeding and dangerously low haemoglobin levels.
