Shockingly, the estimated cases in India for 2023 surpassed 3.4 lakh, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research. Health Minister Satya Pal Singh Baghel noted the government's support for prevention through programs like the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases. Emphasizing prevention, vaccination is strongly recommended for women aged 9 to 26 to mitigate the risk of cervical cancer.
