In a major relief to numerous MBBS graduates, who have been facing troubles in obtaining permanent registration in the absence of recognition for their respective batches, the National Medical Commission has granted recognition/continuance of recognition for one year for all the MBBS batches admitted up to 2018-2019.
This decision has been taken by the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) of the National Medical Commission as it took note of the peculiar situation and the hardships faced by the medical students in obtaining permanent registration in the absence of recognized medical qualifications.
