Pharma association gives clean chit to Dolo-maker

Maker of Dolo 650, Micro Labs which landed in controversy over alleged distribution of freebies to doctors has received a clean chit from the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA).
The IPA has submitted a report to the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) and Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) stating that the company was "following the processes as per the Uniform Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices (UCPMP) guidelines" and they did not find any wrong doing.
