Should the Uniform Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices be made mandatory for Pharma companies? The decision to this issue may soon find a solution as the government has now decided to put its high-level committee to review and take a call on the matter. The said committee will be chaired by Dr VK Paul.
The government has constituted a high-level committee to hammer out a legal mechanism to address the issue of pharmaceutical companies giving inducements for promoting their drugs and products.
