A 15-year-old boy, a class X student from a prominent school in south Kolkata, passed away at a Bagha Jatin private hospital, leading to allegations of negligence by his parents. The hospital claimed that the boy had ingested 15 pills meant to control blood pressure all at once, which could be highly toxic. The parents allegedly refused to admit him to the hospital, despite the treating doctor's advice.
