UP: Quack arrested after 2 newborns die of cold

An inquiry has been ordered against a private clinic by the Uttar Pradesh health department following the death of two newborns allegedly due to extreme cold as the air conditioner (AC) was kept on overnight. The quack running the clinic was arrested on Monday.

Two newborns died at a private clinic in Shamli district on Sunday allegedly because they were kept in a room that was too cold, police said.
