Use khadi, wear khadi: NMC advises doctors, medical colleges, hospital

Stressing the need to encourage the use of health beneficiary and eco-friendly products, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed all the medical colleges and hospitals across the country to utilise Khadi products which are specially designed and manufactured for medical professionals.

The notification to this effect issued under the authority of Dr. Aruna V Vanikar, President of the NMC's Under-Graduate Medical Education Board, calls for the usage of Khadi products by doctors, medical colleges and hospital management at their institutes to boost health and community development in India.
