Half the women population of India are anemic and Vitamin D deficient

Women are at higher health risks with globally anemic women prevalence has increased with change in lifestyle and habits. A national survey found that anemia affecting over half of the respondents while 72% had Vitamin D deficiency. Abnormal levels of cholesterol and blood sugar were found in almost half of them. Women tend to neglect their health to a greater extent, and this is one of the reasons of higher rates of anemia and vitamin D deficiency.
