Opining that postmortem reports or injury reports prepared by the doctors should be in typed format and legible, the Allahabad High Court bench has recently asked the Principal Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Medical Health and Family Welfare Department to issue proper direction to all the Chief Medical Officers of the State in this regard.
"The Senior Registrar of this Court is directed to forward a copy of this order to the Principal Secretary, Medical Health and Family Welfare Government of U.P. Lucknow forthwith for necessary compliance," read the order by HC bench of Justice Brij Raj Singh.
