Anxiety and depression improved by self care preventing heart failure

 Mental health is equally important in maintaining a healthy life. Heart failure is one of the major concerns and problems associated with anxiety and depression, which cause changes in self-care behaviors. Globally, it is estimated that 4.4% of the global population suffer from depressive disorder, and 3.6% from anxiety disorder. Heart failure is a condition commonly presented by shortness of breath, edema, and fatigue, and is most common cause of death globally.

According to a recent study in Research Square revealed that Self-care is directly related to anxiety and depression and the effect of anxiety is much greater than depression. Therefore, according to the results the present study, concluded that if one can reduce the anxiety and stress of these patients with different methods, that can promote self-care and improve their health status.
