Adults with ADHD more likely to have generalized anxiety disorder

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood. It is usually first diagnosed in childhood and often lasts into adulthood.

A new nationally representative study has found that One in four adults aged 20-39 with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) had a generalized anxiety disorder.
