With a 3-3.5% prevalence among the adult Indian population, Generalised Anxiety Disorder has become a problem bigger than we may think. According to data the contribution of Disability-adjusted life years due to anxiety disorders among mental disorders accounted for 19% of the Indian population in 2017.

This disorder may be characterized by several symptoms like tension in muscles, irritation, insomnia, lack of ability to concentrate, and restlessness.
