60 new medical colleges get Centre nod

Bringing good news to the medical aspirants in India, the Union Government has approved 60 new medical colleges across the country. With this permission from the Centre, the number of medical colleges in the country has increased from 706 medical colleges in 2023-2024 to 766 medical colleges in 2024-2025.

As per a PIB release, the Union Health Minister Shri J P Nadda recently informed that there is an increase of 8.07% in Medical Colleges from 706 in 2023-2024 to 766 in 2024-2025.
